Romeo's Italian Submarines: Reviews & Ratings
Ordered 50 wings for 5pm on a busy Saturday night and everything was PERFECT!!!! Can’t thank y’all enough for breathing life back into a great place to eat
My wife and I just finished our corn nuggets, Roast Beef Supreme hoagie, and "The Juliet" hoagie as first time patrons. Whoa! This place makes some PHENOMENAL hoagies! I tip my hat and HIGHLY recommend!
Edited Review: I wanted to give a fresh review after the new owners took over and actually got a foothold. The food now is excellent each time we've had it since my last review 10 months ago or so. The hours are consistent, they answer the phone now, it actually seems like somebody's running the business unlike before when it seemed like teenagers were in charge. So happy with what has changed thusfar. I can't speak for the atmosphere, I've heard complaints from other people about small children but I haven't been there myself to have any opinion on it so a 3 out of 5 for that just as a baseboard rating.
Food is great. The fried stuff is a bit inconsistent, but the subs and wings are great every time. Staff is what you would expect, teenagers mostly and not very friendly but the food makes up for it. It’s a little pricey as well but they don’t cut corners and the food tastes the same as it did 15 years ago. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend Romeo’s over most other local options.
I eat here 3-4 times a week. They have the BEST wings I have ever eaten. Their cajun flavor is my personal favorite...soooo good. I see below some are complaining about wing prices. You get what you pay for. Fast food restaurant prices have skyrocketed. This place has been able to keep their prices down on almost every item compared to their peers. I'd rather give my money to a local shop. Their sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. So thankful to have this place in my town!
I don't know if anyone else feels the same way I do, but the Sweet Bae wings are the best I have ever had. I haven't seen them anywhere else in the area. They are amazing! You have to try them! The wings are huge, and they are always crispy, just like I like them. It's very convenient for me now that I can order online, too. I order before I leave work, pay online, and just walk in and get them. My order is always ready when I get there. Everyone always has a smile, and I feel welcome and appreciated.
Wings had a lot of meat, which is a good thing reasonably priced
This is the kind of amazing small town place that you miss when you are living in a more urban area. You want to come here with a group and hungry. The staff is great and were able to accommodate our large group. Super nice and happy to help in any way that they could. The prices are very reasonable, but what amazed me was the range of the menu. So many great appetizers to try. The wings are certainly what they are know for, and they do not disappoint. They have a chicken wing rub for everyone and all of the ones I tried were delicious. Again, if you go with a huge group and order 75 chicken wings you can sample a wide variety of flavors. If I were to have any complaint, it would be the lack of a soda fountain. Other than that, it's a great restaurant and has some of the best wings around.
